			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Lots of people watch a game of soccer and have no idea how many hours get into practicing the various <a target="_blank" href="http://www.soccerskillsblog.com/soccer-skills/mastering-soccer-skills-with-the-help-of-your-coach">soccer skills</a> required to play the game.  To become a decent player, it will cost a lot of time doing boring <a target="_blank" href="http://www.soccerskillsblog.com/soccer-skills/the-importance-of-practicing-soccer-skills">coaching drills</a>.  Fundamental essentials foundation of soccer; they enable you to get your body accustomed to doing certain moves and never have to think about it.</p>
<p> Running down an area while keeping control of a ball is not as easy as it looks.  Consider that there will be many other people trying to get that ball away from you which is even harder.  When you join a team you will learn how to move with a ball, how to keep it away from the other team, how you can pass it, and you&#8217;ll learn to get this done while running as fast as you are able to.  If you&#8217;re able to have at least a part of what you need to do almost automatic, then you can focus on other activities.  The drills can help you with this particular.</p>
<p> While at practice you have to watch your team mates too.  Learn how they move, listen when the coach tells you about individual strengths and weaknesses.  Soccer is really a team sport, and you all have to know how to experience with each other.  Don&#8217;t think of the hour you spent passing the ball around the field like a chore or punishment, instead give consideration.  As it pertains game time you will have to know such things as number 3 is excellent when the ball is coming to him on the right, but misses a lot if coming on the left.</p>
<p> You should be sure you go to all of your practices.  Yes, this can mean giving up some of your spare time.  Practice may not be as entertaining as a game, but if you do not go you won&#8217;t be able to play.  Your coach, or the organization itself, may have rules on attending practices to become eligible to play.  More to the point though, if you do not go to practices you will not possess the <a target="_blank" href="http://www.soccerskillsblog.com/soccer-skills/working-on-soccer-skills-fun-and-easy-soccer-drills-for-kids">soccer fitness</a> to play.  You are not good towards the team if you get fatigued in the center of the overall game.  Make sure to remain up and moving, during half time you may want to spend a couple of minutes re-warming up before going back out to experience.</p>
<p> Soccer might not be a full contact sport, but there is a lot of endurance needed, and lots of skill.  If you intent to playing the overall game, take the time to learn the basic soccer skills and plan on practicing a great deal!</p>

<p> Muscular Power: Absolute strength and the speed of action both add up to produce power. Increasing any one of them, without reducing the other will generate a value added power called explosive power.</p>
<p> But, if you just follow a generalized weight training routine that most of the popular fitness magazines advocate, you will increase power. But if you put effort to improve your contraction speed, even those types of soccer fitness programs can become useful.</p>
<p> Strength Endurance: It is the capacity of a muscle group to make repetitive and high-intensity movements. Strength endurance and power both are essential for soccer.</p>
<p> If you are a coach you should concentrate on increasing strength endurance during your soccer routine. General weight programs are not very useful if you use the common 3 sets of 8-12 reps each.</p>

<p> Arms: For balancing the body arms are very helpful; example while jumping to head a ball or shifting directions. A good tip for power jump is to throw your arms in the air while you jump.</p>
<p> Plyometric: For best results, weight training should go together with a well-planned plyometric program. With this method you will see progress within the first half of the season.</p>

<p>In soccer training <a target="_blank" href="http://www.soccerdrillstips.com/weight_training_soccer.html">weight training soccer</a> plays an important role in creating tougher and quicker muscles, this you might have heard a lot of times. Your players will have a chance to play at a higher level if they develop themselves using this soccer fitness plan discussed as follows.</p>
<p> The new theory of soccer weight training is to have strong and fast muscles with higher stamina rather that to keep on adding pounds of muscle bulk. Upper body weight training for soccer is not as important as is for the legs, but we still do it for overall conditioning and strength.</p>
<p> You should start your fitness training with the legs first. Begin with the squatting exercises. After a light warm-up set, load the bar to a weight you think your players can get 20 reps with. Supposing they are strong enough, so let them go with 220 pounds first. The technique is to get under the bar and standing up with it resting it across the upper back.</p>
<p> Instruct them to step back out of the racks and stand with their feet, shoulder width apart or wider. They must hold it as they go down until their hips are slightly lower than the top of their knees. When they reach this level in weight training soccer, they should stand up quickly and exhale. They should be motivated to do this for 20 reps even when they are totally worked out.</p>
<p><a target="_blank" href="http://www.soccerdrillstips.com/fitness">Soccer Fitness</a></p>
<p> A 5-10 minutes break should be taken before moving on with the leg curl machine to work on hamstrings. They are required to perform 4 sets of 15 reps each. They will be required to perform 4 sets of 15 reps on the Stiff-Legged Dead lift between each set of Leg Curl exercises. It is important for the hamstrings to be strong as the speed is significantly enhanced by them.</p>
<p> Then conclude your leg workout with 3 sets of 25 reps on the Standing calf-raise machine.</p>
<p> Now for the upper body work out begin with the Incline bench press.<br /> When they are done with the warm ups, they should continue with extra weights so that the next set of 10 reps becomes tougher. They should continue with that weight for 5 sets of 10 repetitions total, while stretching their chest and shoulders, and resting for around 2 minutes between each set.</p>
<p> In this segment of soccer strength training the second exercise is the pull-ups. They should work out on their biceps and back by making their palms facing their body. Finally the upper body exercises include abdominals and performing 5 sets of 20 or more reps of leg raises. Conclude with 5 sets of 50 or more crunching exercises.</p>

<p>Let it be known that a <a target="_blank" href="http://www.soccerdrillstips.com/soccer_conditioning.html">soccer conditioning</a> program is the very basis on which the success of any team depends. It is because of soccer exercises which build strength, agility, and endurance that players manage to stay in shape and thus dream to become match winners for their team.</p>
<p> Still, your team or you may face situations where there is paucity of time to train ahead of a tournament. It does not mean that you must cut down on conditioning exercises. You don’t wish to see your players getting hurt prior to the match or at some point in the game.</p>
<p> If a soccer fitness training series is devised correctly, even 3 days time would be sufficient to train the players fully. All that is required is sincerity, good plan, and execution. Here are some tips that work fine with short but efficient training programs.</p>
<p> Warming up: The players must be told to begin with either of these; a five minute jog, jumping, high knees, or heel flicks. Take adequate rest for a few seconds in between. Then do some stretching for another 5 minutes that will tone up the muscles. These soccer workouts must include every important muscle group in it.</p>

<p>Running: Some coaches have a tendency to make the players do constant running. Even though its fine but I’d say that it would be better if players do just soccer specific running. It implies that they do running, jogging, walking, and sprinting in no set order for about half an hour.</p>
<p> This form of running at different speeds helps the players get strong and have more control over their bodies. And they do not feel drained since a walk after the sprint helps balance things out.</p>
<p> Leave it to the individual players to decide what they want to do and when. If they enjoy doing sprints more than jogging, that is OK. As the players progress and their strength increases, you can augment the time of the soccer conditioning program by 5 to 10 minutes.</p>
<p> Stretching: Encourage the players to do it whenever they can; after a training session and after the match. Focus on the whole body but lay emphasis on hamstrings, groins, quads, calves and lower back. Keep in mind that the stretching positions should be longer than the warm-up sessions. In general, 20 to 30 seconds is recommended.</p>
<p> Make the players rest a day before the match. This will make the muscles build up strength as well as negate the possibility of injuries. It is also a time to discuss the strategy with them along with boosting their confidence.</p>
<p> Discuss some funny things or joke so that they feel lighter.</p>
